Welcome to a different museum!

The Museum of New Experiences is different to any other museum in Stockholm. During your visit you will get to touch, feel, taste, and try out various things that you have most likely never experienced before.

During the autumn school break (week 44) we are open between 10:00 and 19:00 on weekdays, otherwise we are open 16 – 19 on Weekdays, 10 – 17 on Saturdays and 11 – 17 on Sundays.

Challenge your fear of heights in Virtual Reality.

See the elongated skulls from the paracas culture or touch a shrunken head from the Jivaro people.

Stand on an Indian foot mat and see if you are as durable as a Hindu ascetic.

Pet dinosaurs in MR, defend your self from predatory animals in VR or try getting 10 000 volt in your body.

Hold a dental fossil from Megalodon and T-Rex or feel the sharp claw from a Velociraptor.

Taste our exciting collection of sweets and snacks from around the world.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is it? Can I just come by?
The price is 210 kr for adults. 185 kr for children under 18 years of age, students and pensioners. 95 kr for children between 3 and 5 years of age. Little children who stay in strollers the whole visit do not need a ticket. You can purchase tickets at the museum, or online. We only accept payment by card.

Is the museum only for kids?

Absolutely not. Children certainly enjoy the museum, but so do adults.

Do you have an age limit?

We have no age limit, but children under the age of 9 generally needs help from an adult to get the most out of the museum. We expect parents to keep children under supervision. There are things in the exhibition that are fragile.

Opening hours
We are open 16 – 19 on Weekdays, 10 – 17 on Saturdays and 11 – 17 on Sundays. Last bookable time slot is one hour before closing. We are generally open all day during holidays. Please check the booking calendar for exact hours.

Where are you located?
The museum is located close to Avicii Arena and Tele2 Arena in southern Stockholm. Our address is Arenaslingan 3. Closest subway stations are Globen and Gullmarsplan. If you come by car, the shopping center that we are located at offers one hour of free parking, then 35 kr per half hour. If you download their app and become a member you get 2 hours of free parking.
